Cricket 3D game download for Mac OS - DMG

batting

Description

Cricket 3D has arrived and now you can select the level of difficulty for each game from an amateur setting right up to the very highest International level. As you play more games and improve your batting and bowling skills, see if you can reach the Professional standard where balls will be coming towards you at over 90 mph!

All of the on screen displays have been improved and there is now a stunning Oval window (how appropriate!) for viewing the field settings and making sure the fielders are best placed to cut off the batsman’s favourite shots. And with the new full screen display you are totally immersed in the action throughout the game.
This new window provides a stunning new slant on the Cricket game with the chance to closely observe how the batsmen are scoring around the ground and the placement of the fielders.  Scoring wheels for each batsman can be turned on or off and the fielding positions are also available to show exactly where gully, midwicket etc are found.

With the choice of defensive, normal or attacking fields this Oval window is a delight to use and consult as the game progresses.  It is equally helpful for all those young players that see themselves as a future captain of their team - the top down view provides a unique chance to move the field and see how successful each fielder is.

Featuring - Classic Games
Play the last innings of some of the greatest cricket games ever seen.  Remember these amazing clashes...?
  • 2005 Ashes 2nd Test at Edgbaston
  • Australia vs South Africa in the 1999 ICC semi-final (at Edgbaston again!)
  • Twenty20 final at Johannesburg in 2007
  • England vs South Africa in the 1998 final test at Headingley
  • New Zealand playing West Indies in the 1st Test at Eden Park, Auckland in 2006
A total of 8 great classic games are provided along with write-ups of the game and actual scorecards.  Choose to bat and chase the runs, or bowl out the other side to claim victory!

In Limited Overs, you need to keep a careful eye on the run-rate to ensure you are in control of the game.  Bowlers are limited to a maximum of 20% of the total number of overs, so as captain, you must rotate your bowling attack.

The Mac uses Intelligent Fielders to restrict your scoring - favourite shots will be noted and the field adjusted to stop the flow of runs.  You need to think about varying your shots and look out for the gaps in the field.
And of course, you can still play the full game with the mouse if a Wiimote is not available.
